Sponsorship Opportunities

By becoming a sponsor or donating food or prizes, your business will demonstrate that it cares about our community by assisting JLNO in funding many worthwhile programs and volunteer efforts. Last year, JLNO gave $60,000 in Community Assistance Fund Grants to twelve local organizations, volunteered over 40,000 hours, distributed 584,000 diapers to Louisiana residents through its Diaper Bank, and served 1,700 children with education programs. Our work in Metropolitan New Orleans could not be possible without your generous support.

Please review the Sponsorship Benefits. Your logo or name may appear on a variety of collateral, including (as applicable) race-day t-shirts, print advertising, and social media using #RunFreret. As outlined on the second page, JLNO will accept in-kind donations toward a sponsorship.

To become a Freret 5K Sponsor, please complete and return the Sponsor/Donor Form and payment (if applicable) by March 1, 2018 to ensure inclusion in print materials.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email freret5k@jlno.org or contact Kathleen Ramsey at 504-891-5845. JLNO thanks you in advance for your consideration, and we hope to include you as a sponsor of the 5th Annual Freret 5K.

2016 Freret 5K

JLNO thanks everyone for their generous support of the 2016 Freret 5K. It was a fabulous event, bringing together local businesses, Freret neighbors, runners, and walkers to promote family fitness in our community.

Over 520 participants hit Freret Street for the morning’s festivities. After a half-mile fun run and 5K run/walk, everyone enjoyed a variety of refreshments from local restaurants and entertainment from the Tulane Jazz Band. Donations from JLNO members and the public sponsored nearly 100 youth runners.
