In times of natural disaster and other emergencies, the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) stands ready to assist government agencies, non-profit partners, and shelters with basic needs such as diapers for children, period supplies and adult incontinence products. While these supplies are consistently in high demand all year, they are especially critical in times of disaster recovery due to a lack of access caused by infrastructure damage and operational interruptions. The Junior League of New Orleans relies on donations from the community to support the operations of the JLNO Diaper Bank during these challenging times.
When in the midst of active disaster recovery, the JLNO Diaper Bank will put the call out to the community for donations of basic needs supplies to distribute to the community in need. You can help us prepare now for emergencies and disaster recovery in three easy ways:
